WI-FI IN SCHOOLS–CIVIL ACTION: UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT, DISTRICT OF OREGON, PORTLAND DIVISION, CIVIL ACTION NO. 3:11-CV-00739-MO

January 9, 2012.  In order to protect students against unnecessary microwave exposure, some parents and teachers have tried to prevent installation of Wi-Fi in their schools. Others have asked to have Wi-Fi replaced with wired internet access.  Here is a situation where a father, on behalf of his child, has taken legal action regarding Wi-Fi at a Portland Public School, in Portland Oregon.
Shawn E. Abrell is the Lead Counsel and Tyl W. Bakker is the Local Counsel for Plantiffs.
Below are links to expert testimony provided in this case on behalf of the Plantiffs. Expert testimony on behalf of the Defendant will be posted once it is available.
This is an important case as it could be precedent setting.

  1. Hi Paul,
I saw this on Magda's site, too, yesterday. This is extremely interesting. The declarations written by experts have a wealth of helpful material for anyone who is learning about this topic. I was googling to see if I could find out more info.
I have an 8 year old son whose school has wi fi routers. I have already met with the principal. After I told her about a lot of research studies, she told me she didn't believe that the school district would do anything to harm the children and that she trusted the people in the district who made these decisions. This was after I had given her information about almost every study showing effects in the last 40 years. . .
Anyway, I will continue googling and post any more info on StopSmartMetersNow facebook--if I find anything more. I'm looking to see if the mainstream press has an article on this. You would think they would, right?
