Verhagen wil gezinnen onder hoogspanningskabel uitkopen

Laatste update:  9 juni 2011 18:13info

Verhagen wants families under high voltage cable buyouts

Last update: June 9, 2011 6:13 p.m.info

AMSTERDAM - Maxime Verhagen, Minister (Economic Affairs) will soon be 1300 households buyouts because they live near a high voltage cable and dangers this would provide for public health, according to scientists.

Photo: Reuters
This reports the Telegraph Thursday on the basis of a leaked letter to the House. The scheme, which in 25 years will be spread, is estimated to cost 500 million euros. The amount involved will depend on the value of their home, the newspaper said.

These are homes that are more than 0.4 microtesla radiation to endure. That equates to homes that are within fifty meters of cables.
The money for the action does not come from the treasury. All Dutch people go through there to help pay energy bills, as would appear from the letter.

Smart Meters Criminalized in Ojai

Congrats and respect both to the city council and the residents of Ojai who brought about this landmark vote. Ojai joins a proud and elite corps of local governments in California including Santa Cruz, Marin, Lake, and Mendocino Counties who have followed through on their legal right and moral obligation to pass laws protecting their residents from a utility industry and regulatory environment out of touch with health, safety, and sanity.
The City of Ojai last week became the first government in Southern California to adopt an ordinance officially banning smart meters within its jurisdiction. Our congrats and respect both to the city council and the residents of

On Tuesday, Ojai became the first city serviced by Southern California Edison to pass a moratorium on the installation of smart meters. All other communities with similar bans have been Pacific Gas & Electric customers, which

WiFi: Another Legal Accident Waiting to Happen

TUESDAY, 5 JUNE 2012

WiFi: Another Legal Accident Waiting to Happen

Tomorrow, June 6, in a Toronto Divisional Court, lawyers for Peterborough Needs PCVSwill make their arguments regarding KPR’s mishandling of the attempted PCVS closure. In the upcoming posts, we’ll put the Judicial Review into a broader perspective and look closely at some of the details.

While the lawyers prepare their cases, let’s wrap up our examination of another issue on which KPR may one day face legal action from the very people it supposedly serves – the ill-conceived plunge into the world of pervasive WiFi.

In the preceding two posts we’ve seen the way KPR’srepression of dissent around its WiFi plan resembles that around the attempt to close PCVS. We’ve also seen the direct link between astronomicaltechnology expenses and the drive to close schools, and the obliviousness of KPR trustees and administrators of the Pandora’s Box they’re opening in allowing students unlimited internet access on their own hand-held devices.

The most important issue around WiFi for many, however, continues to be the safety hazard it poses.

Unless you’re a trained scientist, it’s not likely that you understand the nature of different kinds of radiation, or what role exposure to them can play in long-term health problems. Even among scientists themselves, there’s no unanimity, as demonstrated by the differences of opinion on the subject held by doctors and Trent University professors. Last year, KPR made the news by handpicking professors who supported their view of WiFi for a public information session, while excluding Environmental and Resource Studies professor Magda Havas, whose research concerns public health effects of industrial development, as you can see from her extensive website, which includes useful information on “electro-pollution.”

The fact is that Kawartha Safe Technology supporters are far from the only ones to suspect long-term negative effects will result from extensive, uncontrolled exposure of children to WiFi radiation. KSTI’s position – that school boards, as public bodies, shoulderr on the side of caution – is a common-sense one, especially because schools are already hardwired and WiFi has little more to offer than convenience. As with other “conveniences” in our contemporary world, such as junk food, plastic bottles, and disposable consumer items, WiFi’s eventual cost will likely outweigh its benefits many times over.

This past February, Peterborough’s Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Rosana Pellizzari, wrote to KPR’s Director of Education in response to concerns about WiFi in schools raised at thePeterborough City-County Health Unit by parents and teachers. Pellizzari asked for clarification as to why KPR had done nothing to accommodate concerned parents, and for a comment on the radiation measurements made in KPR schools as reported by the KSTI.

Embarrassingly, the dynamic duo of Rusty Hick and Diane Lloyd took Pellizzari’s query as aninvitation to promote KPR’s “vision” of “why the use of wireless technology is a crucial component of 21st century learning.” Predictably, their response, which you can read here, failed to answer the question as to why KPR hasn’t bothered to accommodate concerned parents by offering some kind of WiFi-free environment – unless you count the elimination of the problem of having “cables strewn across the floor” as a justifiable rationale.

Hick and Lloyd state unequivocally that they “know the technology is safe.” They also state that one of the main reasons for installing WiFi is to allow students to use their own hand-held devices in class. The defense they offer regarding the safety of WiFi isthreefold: a) a lot other institutions are using it; b) the measurements made in classrooms are lower than the Health Canada threshold for radiation exposure; and c) many health authorities have concluded that “wireless technology does not pose a public health risk.” KPR’s attitude toward WiFi is perhaps best summed up in the blunt characterization of it as“a fact of modern life.”

A more sophisticated view is offered by the Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association. This past March they issued a position paper (included in the correspondence at the above link) which quite rationally compares this potential workplace hazard tocigarettes and asbestos, and observes that “the health effects of unprecedented long-term exposure to this radiation may not be known for some time.” The paper points out that school boards like KPR are engaging in an uncontrolled experiment with its students by exposing them to WiFi signals for unprecedented durations throughout their growth from young children to adults.

The paper notes that Health Canada’s “safety code 6” threshold of 1000 microwatts per square centimeter – a threshold repeatedly referred to by KPR and others as their primary benchmark – is based on a six-minute exposure by an adult male, and was never intended to be applied to schools. The paper also observes that many countries in Europe have much more stringent guidelines than Health Canada’s, and unlike Health Canada, also consider deeper potential long-term biological effects.

The OECTA paper also points out that “at least three percent of the population has an environmental sensitivity to the radiation emitted” by wireless devices – often to levels far below the Health Canada guideline. The paper notes that “employers have a duty to accommodate persons with environmental sensitivities under the Canadian Human Rights Code as well as the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.” KPR and other school boards, backed by the Ministry of Education, have chosen to ignore these facts, at their own legal peril.

Remember when it was perfectly fine to wear strongperfumes in schools? Who could have conceived a generation ago that people with chemical sensitivities would complain, and have their rights to a healthy environment upheld? Who would have wagered that schools would become “nut-free”in deference to those with allergies? My grade 12 math teacher routinely went to the staff room to smoke a pipe, and held the view that both he and his students should be allowed to smoke in class. Now we don’t even tolerate smoking in the school yard.

And then there’s asbestos. KPR is now on the hook for a million-dollar asbestos removal-and-containment bill as they refurbish TASSS. Apparently this deadly carcinogen, responsible for the early deaths of many thousands of unsuspecting people, was thought perfectly acceptable to install in schools when TASSS was built forty years ago.

The first legal action against public schools for forcibly subjecting their students to wireless radiation was filed in Portland, Oregon last year. You can read some wildlycontrasting views on the suit in this online news article and the comments posted by readers. In those comments, you’ll see the great discrepancy between attitudes inEurope and attitudes in North America.

The contact list on the website for Citizens for Safe Technology, a North American umbrella group, confirms another notable discrepancy – far more women are on top of the issue than men. It seems that the basic social norms that say that males should be comfortable with any technology no matter how dangerous continue to have a great deal of power.

The bottom line is that the ubiquity of wireless radiation in our built environment today is no defense for its presence in schools. In fact, the opposite is true – we all get enough radiation exposure as it is without soaking our biggest public institutions with it, day in and day out, year after year. Like other “facts of modern life,” such as junk food, cigarette smoke, bullying, and images of violence, we should be trying to minimizeradiation exposure in schools, not maximize it.

If history is any indication, pervasive WiFi in schools will eventually be consigned to the dustbin of bad ideas by a court upholding Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms

By that time, Hick and Lloyd may be long gone from KPR, leaving taxpayers with the bill to reconfigure our schools’ internet connections. But tomorrow’s court proceedings offer ample evidence thattaxpayers’ rights rarely cross their radar screen.

Mourning by Mothers

M.A.R.E. (Mothers Against Radiation Emissions) and their children were out to “mourn the loss of a safe neighbourhood, impending individual and public health decline, and biological damage threatening future generations,” with a moment of silence after the new Bell commercial cell tower antenna was activated last Friday at Oakville Fire Station No. 1 at Rebecca Street and Bronte Road.
The mothers expressed disappointment that Oakville Town Council had not withdrawn its consent to activate the antenna.

CT Scan Radiation Triples Brain Tumor Risk in Children

CT Scan Radiation Triples Brain Tumor Risk in Children

Anthony Gucciardi
Infowars.com
June 8, 2012
CT scans, routinely performed on children and adults alike at the suggestion of their doctor, may actually triple the risk of developing leukemia or brain tumors in children. Scientists are now warning over the link between CT scan radiation and elevated brain tumor risk after the information was brought to the surface, thanks to new research stemming from Newcastle University. Alternative health experts have long warned against the large amount of unnecessary CT scans and other scanning techniques involving radiation.
Published Thursday in The Lancet medical journal, the scientists discovered that due to the fact that the CT scans can trigger cancer, it should only be used when “fully clinically justified.” Currently, doctors frequently use CT scans to examine the severity of chest infections and other diseases. In addition, head trauma is also examined with CT scans to check for brain injury. This is particularly problematic when considering the fact that these scans involve rather large doses of radiation, even when compared to x-ray alternatives. CT scan radiation can  be especially problematic with growing and developing brains.
In fact, CT scans emit 10 times more radiation than x-ray options. It is for this reason that the researchers of the study conclude that it should be a “priority” to limit radiation doses used in CT scans. The results were based on 180,000 children who received CT scans in Britain between 1985 and 2002.
Previously, dental x-rays have been linked in similar research to a two-fold increase in brain tumor risk. Coming out of Yale, the researchers found that the risk factor ratio could actually be even higher for children, which isn’t surprising. When exposed to bitewing x-rays (the kind that shows upper and lower back teeth) performed less than once per year, patients were 1.1 to 1.6 times more likely to experience  a form of brain cancer known as meningioma. When the number of x-rays jumped to 1 or higher per year, or even more frequent panorex dental X-ray (an X-ray showing all teeth and surrounding bones), the risk factor increased by 2.7 to 3.0 What’s more, is that x-rays performed before age 10 gave the young children a 4.9 times more likely chance to develop the condition.
As further research comes out, it becomes more and more apparent that radiation is unsafe at any dose — especially for children. It is time to re-examine the current medical paradigm and opt for safer alternatives in order to fight the burdgeoning cancer rates currently surging throughout the globe.

Kirkland cell-phone tower

Kirkland cell-phone tower

Submitted by Mary L. Gervais (not verified) on Thu, 06/07/2012 - 16:30.
Mayor McMurchie has been trying to avoid dealing with the cell-tower issue from the time it exploded in Pointe-Claire a couple of years ago. The protests here resulted from poorly thought-out decisions by the city on the location of 2 out of 3 proposed Rogers towers.

In addition to any possible direct long-term health risks, aesthetics and effects on nearby property values, for many thinking people cell-phone towers have in effect become lightning rods for a whole range of larger citizen concerns about what we value and cherish, both as individuals and as communities when confronted by the never-ending, in-your-face media barrage of "newer, bigger/smaller, FASTER, FASTER, FASTER!!!".

Among them:how do we develop a healthy relationship with technology so that it does truly function as our servant, rather than as our master, as is too often the case now? How many apps buy happiness? 20 thousand? 100 thousand? And what are we in danger of losing, as our attention spans and life skills shrink in direct proportion?
What is the role and relative power of citizens vis-a-vis ever-larger, unaccountable corporations whose one and only motivation is ever-expanding profit? In reference to the infamous "citizens united" American Supreme Court decision, a Texas political observer said it well: "I'll believe a corporation is a citizen when one is hanged".

There is already a lot of pressure on municipal politicians and we expect them to deal with it. We expect them to really listen to a wide range of input on any given situation and to make the best informed, balanced and fair decisions possible. We expect them to educate themselves on a given topic when necessary and we expect them to be guardians of the local public good. That is what we elect and pay them a salary to do. Otherwise why have them at all?

"Ninety per cent of our time would be spent on deciding where a tower could go and could not go," he said. I believe that is what my high-school English teacher called  "hyperbole". And choosing to bury one's head in the sand is an abdication of responsibility and leadership.

If they look, they may see

A friend of ours just came back to this country for a visit and also for an eye doctor because he has lost 90% vision in his right eye...

He came to my room and it happened that I showed him my electrosmog meter for fun. He immediately attacked me telling me this is all nonsense and RF is everywhere etc etc...   so I showed him the difference in RF levels we have simply by opening the window!  But he was not convinced...

Then I asked him how much he talks on his mobile every day -and he said he was on it constantly...     then I said - - "OK - AND NOW YOU HAVE ALMOST LOST VISION IN YOUR RIGHT EYE?! "

He was shocked, and then said - "OH MY GOD!   I think you might be right. I always hold my phone to the right side of my head and now my right eye is damaged. I always had some problems with my right eye, but it didn't become a really serious problem until I began using a mobile phone many years ago."

Argentina - Debated in Congress on antennas, electromagnetic pollution and health effects

Argentina - Debated in Congress on antennas, electromagnetic pollution and health effects
06/07/2012
Organized by the Popular Unity bloc was held in the annex building of the Chamber of Deputies a public hearing to discuss the effects they have on the health of people. The national deputy Antonio Riestra, Popular Unity bloc, presented by the legislator of Buenos Aires in Buenos Aires for all UP Laura Garcia Tunon and neighborhood organizations autoconvocados held a public hearing on the effects on the health of the population, Electromagnetic pollution from phone masts, FM, Wi-Fi and other devices.
In opening the hearing, Rep. Riestra said that "although not yet know all the aspects of this problem, it is clear that safety standards limiting radiation levels in almost every country in the world, seem to be thousands of times higher than the levels at which the risk actually disappear or be minimized. "So, estimated that" new approaches are needed to find alternatives that do not pose the same level of health risk, while it is time tothose changes. "
"As people became aware of the effects on health when installing antennas in neighborhoods, the lawsuits brought against these authorizations, the complaints filed with the municipalities were increasing. And this happens not only in Argentina , multiply global social and environmental movements that seeks review of regulations and protection of human health, "the national legislature.
On this point, Riestra submitted to debate the bill of his own which he said, "establishes minimum budgets for environmental protection in the matter, according to the rules set forth by Article 41 of the Constitution guaranteeing the right to health and to live in a healthy environment. The Office is authorized to issue such rules in order to match the floor of environmental regulation across the country. Each province can from there pass laws stricter but not more lax. "
"We want to discuss all this project, the standards development process is usually done with little contribution from other sectors. We want to hear about all the experts in public health. The project is open to be modified and improved. What we ask and we want to promote through this activity is being processed, the discussion of the issues raised, "said Riestra.
In turn Buenos Aires legislator Laura Garcia Tunon said that "as legislators have a duty to safeguard the health of citizens and regulate through rules to avoid getting sick antennas to the population and yet appeal to the political and business will, the way is that we all think of a city and a country that does not contaminate and sicken the population by the use of satellite communication and television daily proliferate without any care. "
Marta Maffei, driving the initiative at the parliamentary level, noted that "Electromagnetic pollution from phone masts, FM, Wi-Fi and other devices that emit ionizing radiation, and has plenty of evidence around the world. The years since installation, possible to corroborate serious health effects, including embryos, children, youth and pregnant. "
The People's Union leader said: "Our legislation is insufficient and backward into the specifics, especially the judicial reluctance to implement effective precautionary principle." He considered that "it is imperative to the dictates of national rules setting clear limits and renewal of the companies providing services replacing obsolete existing technologies that allow safe and adequate health protection for all."
Finally, the president of deputies of the Unidad Popular, Claudio Lozano, said that "companies have to invest in network redesign and relocate cell antennae to defend the health and lives of our people."
In closing the debate, Riestra thanked the experts and the militancy of the neighbors on these issues and said that "the pain of mothers and families make one put more cargo than any other legislative proposal. I also express my presence is only the continuation of a task that began some time ago Marta Maffei, then continued Benas who gave Veronica joined the project and now I am giving continuity is continuity have always set you (referring to present residents and specialists) who are the military started this topic. Summoning us to move forward, aware of what is now said, and knowing the power against whom the dispute, will continue to insist all the time necessary to move forward with this proposal. Small Victory

Ladies and Gentleman,

It may be a small victory but it is a great achievement for the small rural community of Dunamon, Co. Roscommon.

Farmer Michael Hussey and his tight-knit community forced the telecommunications company, Vodaphone, to remove a mast which they had piggy-backed on a Tetra mast.

The community took placement of the Tetra mast to court where lawyers argued successfully that the mast was necessary for "national security".

The attachment is an account of the Hussey family's on-going fight.

Special thanks should be extended to the Roscommon Herald for following the issue with integrity.

California study - results obtained by lawsuit

The basis of the Israeli Env. Ministry's warning is this study:

SACRAMENTO, California, July 16, 2001 (ENS) - Added risk of miscarriage, childhood leukemia, brain cancer and greater incidence of suicide are some of the health risks associated with exposure to electric and magnetic fields such as those that radiate from power lines, according to a California health department review....Still, these results were not readily released to the public, according to the California First Amendment Coalition (CFAC) which mounted a lawsuit to make them public. In late June, the lawsuit was filed in Alameda Superior Court by the California First Amendment Coalition and Citizens Concerned about EMFs, two public benefit non-profit organizations. Defendants named in the suit are the California Department of Health Services (DHS), DHS Director Dr. Diana Bonta, the California Electric and Magnetic Fields Program, and EMF program Director Dr. Raymond Neutra. The two reports, one a compilation of all available scientific evidence, the other examaning policy implications of the data, were originally ordered by the California Public Utilities Commission in 1993.  "We are delighted that the state decided to abide by the California Public Records Act rather than go through protracted litigation", said CFAC executive director Kent Pollock.
"The people of California won an important victory this morning."

By using the term “cause” the research means they believe that power line magnetic fields is the agent that induces the enumerated diseases"

IEMFA EMF presentation held on the Madrid congress "Risks for Public Health & the Environment" and a warning from The American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM)

This is the IEMFA EMF presentation held on the Madrid congress "Risks for Public Health & the Environment"
The two-perspective risk assessment system in Europe - World health change possibly linked to electromagnetic fields

Main context of the conference was that current methods and institutions for assessing environmental-health risks are not able to cope with complexities and uncertainties. Also scientific concepts and paradigms are requested that are independent from the interests and influence of the promoters of technologies. In line, it is recommended not to restrict risk assessment to closed networks of narrow elites, but to open up assessment and management of risks to wider groups of stakeholders. Also a plead is made to bring together the different types of knowledge existing in different networks.

The Goals of the Conference were as follows:
1) Increase public and political awareness of social, economic and environmental risks of current and new technologies and discuss effective means for e.g. technology and risk assessments, product approvals, and liability schemes.

2) Provide a forum for open public debate where experts from different fields can address the following questions and issues:
- What are the public health and environment risks of technologies such as modern biotechnology, nanotechnology, electromagnetic fields, and novel chemicals?
- What are the private and societal needs that are addressed by these technologies?
- Which are the current policies and procedures for shaping and assessing these technologies?
- Which are the main barriers to avoiding or minimizing risks and how can they be overcome?
- How can the precautionary principle be best applied?
- Why is there a lack of comprehensive and strong policies and institutions that could better support public interests?
- How can the marginalization of independent research, neglect of its results, and the undue influence of vested interests that inhibit change for the public good be overcome?

3) Create an Action Plan with concrete and realistic activities to support the changes needed, including changes in scientific paradigms and practices.and in the control of technological choices.

Organised by: The European Network of Scientists for Social and Environmental Responsibility (ENSSER), The European Environment Agency (EEA), The Health Defense Organisation (HDO), The Cátedra-Universidad-Empresa-Sindicato.

American Academy of Environmental Medicine
Calls for Immediate Caution regarding Smart Meter Installation...Cites Human Health Impacts of Chronic Exposure to Radiofrequency (RF)

The American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM) has released its latest position paper on electromagnetic field (EMF) and radiofrequency (RF) health effects calling for immediate caution regarding smart meter installations. Citing several peer-reviewed scientific studies, the AAEM concludes that "significant harmful biological effects occur from non-thermal RF exposure" showing causality. "A more thorough review of technological options to achieve society's worthwhile communications and business objectives must be conducted to protect human health and wellbeing," stated Dr. William J. Rea, a member of the AAEM and former thoracic surgeon. "By continuing to layer more and more wireless communication within our communities, we are setting the stage for widespread disease."

The AAEM also expresses concern regarding significant, but poorly understood quantum field health effects of EMF and RF. "More independent research is needed to assess the safety of 'Smart Meter' technology," said Dr. Amy Dean, board certified internist and President-Elect of the AAEM. "Patients are reporting to physicians the development of symptoms and adverse health effects after smart meters are installed on their homes. Immediate action is necessary to protect the public's health. Our research shows that chronic RF and EMF exposure can be very harmful."

Dr. William J. Rea, past president of AAEM, and a long time researcher on the effects of EMFs on the human body, says, "Technological advances must be assessed for harmful effects in order to protect society from the ravages of end-stage disease like cancer, heart disease, brain dysfunction, respiratory distress, and fibromyalgia. EMF and wireless technology are the latest innovations to challenge the physician whose goal is to help patients and prevent disease."

The AAEM calls for:

==> Immediate caution regarding "Smart Meter" installation due to potentially harmful RF exposure
==> Accommodation for health considerations regarding EMF and RF exposure, including exposure to wireless "Smart Meter" technology
==> Independent studies to further understand health effects from EMF and RF exposure
==> Use of safer technology, including for "Smart Meters," such as hard-wiring, fiber optics or other non-harmful methods of data transmission
==> Independent studies to further understand the health effects from EMF and RF exposures
==> Recognition that electromagnetic hypersensitivity is a growing problem worldwide
==> Consideration and independent research regarding the quantum effects of EMF and RF on human health
==> Understanding and control of this electrical environmental bombardment for the protection of society

iPad Dangers

iPad Dangers

I would like to bring to your attention that WiFi-enabled iPads (which are used in direct contact with chidren's bodies - hands, lap, abdomen etc) represents a comparable health hazard, to our younger generation.

"an average smartphone uses 35 times the bandwidth of a regular cellphone", "tablet uses up to 121 times the bandwidth." http://goo.gl/QHYpS

In Canada, parents and schools are spending thousands and thousands of dollars purchasing iPads for use in homes and classrooms (even tho' they are 3 times the price of a netbook which can be wired). Toddlers are given iPads as toys and I was horrified to hear that a parent put an iPad next to a young child's pillow for bedtime stories and music. Parents need to be warned.

I have measured the microwave radiation of an iPad (with WiFi button turned on only, not browsing the internet and not downloading anything). Themeasurements from the WiFi-iPad spiked several times HIGHER than an iPhone on talking mode. I have also checked an iPad's magnetic field (WiFi off, just playing an already downloaded game) and it read 20 milligauss. I would like to share the following videos with you. Please feel free to test on your own. I think this danger which is fast-advancing in schools and homes across nations need to be brought to public awareness.

On the Apple forum, there have been repeated posts of complaints from people feeling feeling dizziness and nausea after using iPad and had to return them. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2399586?start=0&tstart=0

Thanks,
Michelle

Wi-Fi and Cellphone Radiation Comparison

Here are 2 videos to illustrate the comparison between an iPad on Wi-Fi mode and an iPhone on talking mode:

iPhone on Talking mode:
-Peaked at 19 μW/cm2 (microwatts/cm2). Most of the time measurements varied between 4-11μW/cm2.
-Continuous signal, but duration of use in talking mode likely shorter than internet browsing.
-Phone will be in direct contact with the ear and head (unless handsfree or headset are used).
-Wi-Fi was turned off on this phone.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n097VN7KB_A

iPad on Wi-Fi mode:
-Peaked at 70 μW/cm2; several times higher than iphone on talk mode.
-Continual signals. Stop and spike every few seconds, from 0 to 50-70 μW/cm2 every few seconds.
-Duration of use for iPad is likely longer than talk-mode on cellphone - possibly for hours a day.
-iPad will be in direct contact with the student's hands or/and lap/abdomen.
-Note that there is no Wi-Fi network available. The iPad is not even logged onto any Wi-Fi network nor downloading anything.
-The iPad is not on airplane mode but there is no SIM card in it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVJI-0YogGo
-In this other video, the airplane mode is on and Wi-Fi is turned on. This one peaked at 39 microwatts/cm2.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0qU2ov2U1w

* The highest I have measured of an iPad on Wi-Fi mode was actually at 90 μW/cm2, but I was not filming that time. Also, the probe of the RF meter is located in the middle of the spherical casing, about 2cm further from the outer shell of the case.
